This course is the legal minimum requirement for any persons looking to work commercially on vessels abroad, such as Cruise Liners and Superyachts.
We offer the most popular Full Basic STCW Safety Training Course including PDSD which is specific to the Superyacht Industry as well as the Cruise Liner STCW Package and individual STCW Courses on request.
These courses run in Cape Town every week. The STCW training provides crew with the experience and training using real-life scenarios under safe conditions. It is essential to prepare crew for any situation or emergency that may occur at sea in order to protect the lives of crew and guests on-board.
If you are looking to join the Yachting industry you will need to complete your STCW training, you cannot apply for work without these safety certificates.

COMBINED STCW INCLUDES PDSD
This course covers the STCW crewing requirements for basic crew duties on Superyachts.
This 11-day course runs every week starting on a Thursday and runs until the following Sunday. The package includes the following 5 modules.
- STCW 95 PERSONAL SURVIVAL TECHNIQUES
- STCW 95 FIRE FIGHTING AND FIRE PREVENTION
- STCW 95 ELEMENTARY FIRST AID
- STCW 95 PERSONAL SAFETY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
