Yachtmaster Mile Building
Sailing yachts and Motor Yachts
We have some amazing opportunities to gain your miles and explore the Islands around Madagascar.
Part of the requirements for the RYA Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore exams is to gain experience on relevant vessels. The mileage must be on vessels under 24m in length. The official passages also need to be on vessels under 24meters in length.
These qualifications are needed to gain access to the MCA OOW programme. Ie working towards a British flagged sail or power yacht Officer of the Watch certificate.
The vessels are based near Pemba and offer adventures all year round. With the choice of islands and activities in the area we would normally only sail for 3 or 4 days and have a day off for sightseeing / or relaxing.
The pricing is inclusive of sea time / food and accommodation during the voyage. Flights, shore based accommodation are not included. The sea is not under our control so exact dates and mileage can vary slightly. Always book an open return flight so you can change it when needed.
